|Same as it ever was.

Last weekend without hesitation I agreed to sit in on a few songs with my former band, 3 Foot Swagger. A band I helped create and enjoyed playing with for years. It was as if I never had to move to Atlanta and stop touring with the band. Same faces, same friends…well some new faces and some new music, but the same fun feel that continues to give the band it’s appeal. Tony Delgado and Boss Hogg are two great musicians that have helped keep moving the band in the right direction. I would like to thank my friends in 3 Foot Swagger, and the constantly growing Athens music scene. The New Earth Music Hall is a big part of that. A great new venue that promises to bring great music for years to come. Check it out if you find yourself in Bulldog land.

Thinking Music
Monday, December 7th, 2009
First of all I would like thank the Lanier Golf Club and the JC’s networking club for having us play their Christmas Party. We had a great time as usual. Also, I would like to thank Sawnee Mountain music for hosting the holiday picking session last night at their wonderful store. I urge any beginner, intermediate, or advanced musicians who enjoy good acoustic music to make it to a “pickin” session as soon as possible. I spent time with some of the nicest people and amazing yet humble musicians last night. Anyone who wants to see what it is all about come to Everett’s Pickin Barn this upcoming Saturday for another amazing night. So it goes.
